well, this was certainly a year for me, and I don't really know what to say about it... but I'll try.

I'm happy to have come here in early 2022, and I'm happy that I really started doing things this year, it was an experience.

2024 was definitely an odd year for me, I didn't interact much (as I'm very anti-social), but I had a good time regardless!

I wanted to start interacting more, so at the start of the year, I started looking to collab with someone, I wasn't a great artist (and I'm still kinda mid XD), but I wanted to start doing more and interacting with more people.

then I got contacted by @OnlyHereForNostalgia and I did my first collab: Super Rayman World

it was alot of fun, but I was a big-dumb-stupid-head and took my collab page down for some reason and never made another.

Late February to April were good personal improvement for me, shrinking my canvas and trying new things with my characters, here's some of the ones I'm proud of:

then in late April, I saw a cool looking collab by @CreeperForce24 called the 'Ghost Collab' that looked pretty fun, so I joined

It was alot of fun and I met some pretty cool people, after that I gained alot of motivation and drew quite a bit more!

May was uneventful other than me entering my first art contest

and then in June, I saw 2 cool looking collabs by @SkilledFella and @Finasty called the 'Ninja Collab' and the 'Summer Art Collab' and joined them both

I also made my 100th art piece :D

July was kind of a weird month for me, as while I made alot of drawings, it was kind of an odd time for me personally due to work and my upcoming birthday, which I would go on to celebrate, and it was pretty good :)

alongside that, I would also join the 'Wii Art Collab' by @AlexToolStudio and the 'Pokemon Variance Collab' by @whimsical-wife

they were alot of fun and new to work on, and it gave me alot of energy going into August where I joined the 'Birthday Collab' by @Coolusername225 to celebrate their birthday and the 'Halloween Collab' @Fnaflaxter

but going into September, alot of shit started happening and it caused me to look back negatively at all my art, which resulted in me deleting or removing alot of art from the portal, however, my motivation to draw was helped during an art stream, so I didn't lose any steam in that area, which was nice.

alongside that, I also joined the 'Super Smash Bros. Art Collab' by @Cosmiccookie2000

October was a fucking pain in the ass by all god damn metrics, due to work being the biggest piece of shit imaginable, which was awful timing as I was doing a daily art prompt called OC-tober by @Oddlem

it was extremely fun, but doing it alongside work genuinely sucked, imagine doing 8 hour shifts for 4-5 days a week while trying to draw something new everyday, while ALSO redoing my submission for the Pokémon Variance Collab. It was a pain, but at least I had fun and finished all 30 days and the redone submission, so all was well in the end :3

November and December where... shocking uneventful, I didn't do much since work was pretty busy during those months and I wanted to prioritize family and Youtube, and I went on vacation, but I did make some drawings I'm pretty proud of:

and that's pretty much all for 2024, overall it was a year of improvement for me, but also filled with ups-and-downs. Ultimately though, I'm happy with how it went, I met some pretty cool people, I'm learning 3D art now, and it was an overall blast!

Going Forward & New Years Resolution:

I'll start with my New Years Resolution, I want to start being more critical, I feel that I haven't been giving much criticism when I could/should have, and I want to change that, so going into 2025, I'm going to start giving more criticism.

alongside that, I want to start drawing alot more in 2025 than I have this year, as I definitely slacked on that during the last 2 months.

Going Forward, I want to do more art streams, I like taking requests, and it gives me an excuse to do so while also entertain people!
