should I start doing art trades?

because I'm not sure, I've never done one and don't know how it works nor how it would go.

should I start doing commissions?

because I don't think I should, my art still needs ALOT of improvement, so I'm not sure if I should do that.

I wanna know what y'all think, cause I don't think I should, but I wanna hear what other people think?
